How to download and set up the Flipkart Seller app

6 steps. Under 8 minutes for existing Seller Hub accounts.

    Step 01

    Download 'Flipkart Seller Hub'

Available on Google Play (Android 8+). Flipkart's iOS seller app was deprecated — iPhone sellers use m.seller.flipkart.com in Safari.

    Step 02

Log in with Seller Hub credentials

Use the same email/mobile + password as your desktop Seller Hub. First login triggers an OTP to your registered mobile.

    Step 03

Enable notifications for orders & tickets

Approve push notifications for new orders, buyer messages, PLA campaigns, cancellations and F-Assured penalties — SLA-critical.

    Step 04

    Configure listing view (Grid/List)

Switch to Grid view for faster stock/price edits. Tap-and-hold any SKU to bulk-select and update pricing across the catalog.

    Step 05

    Set up Ads (PLA) shortcuts

Pin the Ads tab to home for quick bid changes. The app supports keyword-level bid updates, budget pauses and negative keyword additions.

    Step 06

    Turn on Seller Protection alerts

Enable RTO, courier-loss and buyer-fraud claim alerts so you can raise Seller Protection Fund (SPF) tickets within the 7-day filing window.

    Troubleshooting

Fixing common Flipkart Seller app issues

Flipkart Seller Hub app not opening / crash on launch

Fix: Update to the latest Play Store version. If crashing persists, clear cache (App Info → Storage → Clear Cache). As a fallback, log in via m.seller.flipkart.com in Chrome — same features, no install needed.

    OTP not received during login

Fix: Confirm your registered mobile number on desktop Seller Hub → Profile → Contact Details. Airtel/Jio DND lists sometimes block Flipkart transactional SMS — use the 'Call me with OTP' option instead.

    Can't find the iOS app

Fix: Flipkart discontinued the standalone iOS Seller app. Use m.seller.flipkart.com in Safari, then Add to Home Screen — it installs as a PWA with near-native experience.

    Bulk price update not saving

Fix: Ensure prices respect Flipkart's MRP floor and category price bands. Failed rows appear in the Notifications tab — re-edit each and resave individually.

Ads (PLA) tab shows no campaigns

Fix: The Ads tab only shows campaigns you have Manage permissions on. Ask your account admin to grant Ads access on desktop Seller Hub → Manage Users.

    Flipkart Seller App — FAQs

What is the Flipkart Seller app?+

The Flipkart Seller Hub app is Flipkart's official free mobile app (Android) for sellers to manage orders, listings, ads, payments and tickets on Flipkart.com. It's the mobile counterpart to seller.flipkart.com and supports Flipkart, Myntra (via Flipkart account) and 2GUD sellers.

How do I download the Flipkart Seller app?+

Search 'Flipkart Seller Hub' on Google Play Store — the app is free, ~90 MB, and requires Android 8 or higher. iOS users should visit m.seller.flipkart.com in Safari and Add to Home Screen (Flipkart's standalone iOS app was deprecated).

How do I log in to the Flipkart Seller app?+

Open the app → enter the email/mobile and password from your desktop Seller Hub account → verify the OTP sent to your registered mobile. Multi-store sellers can switch between store IDs from the profile menu.

Is there a Flipkart Seller app for iPhone?+

No native iOS app currently. Flipkart deprecated the standalone iPhone Seller app — iOS sellers use m.seller.flipkart.com in Safari and Add to Home Screen. All features (orders, listings, ads, tickets) are available in the mobile web version.

Can I manage Flipkart ads (PLA) from the app?+

Yes. The Ads tab supports Product Listing Ads campaign management — change bids, pause/enable campaigns, adjust budgets, view spend and ROAS, and add negative keywords. Requires 'Manage Ads' permission granted from desktop.

Why is my Flipkart Seller Hub app not working?+

Common fixes: (1) update to the latest Play Store version, (2) clear cache under App Info → Storage, (3) check internet — Flipkart Seller Hub does not work offline, (4) confirm your account isn't under de-activation via desktop Seller Hub → Account Health, (5) as fallback, use m.seller.flipkart.com in Chrome.

What's the difference between Flipkart Seller Hub app and desktop?+

Desktop Seller Hub has full bulk-upload, deep reports, catalog Flipkart Boost management, Rich Media Content editor and payment appeals. The app is optimised for daily ops — order confirmations, quick edits, ads bid changes, ticket responses and payment tracking on the go.

Can I list a new product on Flipkart from the app?+

Yes for existing catalog items — tap Listings → + → search brand/FSN → attach to your seller ID with price + stock. Brand-new SKUs (with no existing catalog listing) require the desktop Catalog Uploader for full brand-approval + image QC workflow.
