    What is FBM?

Fulfillment by Merchant — sellers handle storage, packing, and shipping directly.

    Detailed Explanation

FBM (Fulfillment by Merchant) means the seller manages the entire fulfillment process: warehousing, picking, packing, shipping, and customer service. While FBM sellers don't get automatic Prime eligibility, they maintain full control over packaging, shipping speed, and customer experience. FBM is often more cost-effective for large/heavy items, low-velocity products, or sellers with existing warehouse infrastructure. Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) allows top-performing FBM sellers to offer Prime delivery from their own warehouses.
