    Preparation checklist, not a universal official requirement list: Zepto confirms the documents and specifications for your category during onboarding.

    Documents to Prepare

    • GST Registration Certificate
      Active GSTIN with matching business address
    • PAN Card
      Business PAN or proprietor PAN
    • FSSAI License
      Central or state FSSAI — mandatory for food products
    • Cancelled Cheque / Bank Statement
      Current account for payment settlement
    • Product Images
      High-resolution, white background, min 1000×1000px
    • EAN/Barcode Certificate
      GS1-registered barcodes for each SKU

    Step-by-Step Zepto Registration Process

    Access the Zepto Partner Portal

    Open https://brands.zepto.co.in/ and select Register Now. Follow the official onboarding flow to create your account.

    Fill Business Information

    Enter legal entity name, GST number, registered address, primary contact person name, email, and mobile number.

    Select Product Categories

    Choose your primary and secondary categories (grocery, personal care, baby, health, etc.). This determines commission rates and dark store placement.

    Upload Documents

    Upload all mandatory documents — GST certificate, FSSAI license, PAN, cancelled cheque, and brand authorization if applicable.

    Submit Product Catalog

    Add each SKU with: product name, EAN barcode, MRP, selling price, net weight, shelf life, high-res images, and detailed description.

    Verification & Review

    Zepto's onboarding team reviews your application. Timing varies; they may request clarifications or additional certifications.

    Agreement & Pricing Finalization

    Review the vendor agreement and confirm commission rates, payment terms and city-wise inventory allocation with Zepto before signing.

    Inventory Inwarding

    Ship stock to assigned dark stores per Zepto's inwarding guidelines. Products undergo quality inspection before going live.

    Go Live on Zepto

    Once inventory passes QC, your products appear on the Zepto app. Monitor orders via the seller dashboard and start advertising.

    Common Rejection Reasons & How to Fix Them

    ❌ GST Number Mismatch
    ✅ Fix: Ensure GSTIN matches the business name and address on all submitted documents.
    ❌ Expired or Invalid FSSAI
    ✅ Fix: Renew FSSAI before applying. Central FSSAI is preferred for multi-state operations.
    ❌ Low-Quality Product Images
    ✅ Fix: Use minimum 1000×1000px white-background images. Show all pack sides, nutritional info, and MRP.
    ❌ Missing EAN Barcodes
    ✅ Fix: Register for GS1 India barcodes. Each SKU needs a unique EAN code printed on packaging.
    ❌ Incomplete Product Information
    ✅ Fix: Fill every field: shelf life, net weight, ingredients, manufacturer details. Missing data delays approval.
    ❌ Category Not Open for New Sellers
    ✅ Fix: Category availability is controlled by Zepto. Ask its onboarding team whether your category is currently open; an agency cannot guarantee access.
