Go to seller.flipkart.com and click 'Start Selling'. Enter your active mobile number — you'll get an OTP for verification.

Verify email via OTP. Choose a strong password — this becomes your Flipkart Seller login credential.

Enter GST number — Flipkart auto-fills the legal name and address. Names on GST and PAN must match exactly.

Enter the warehouse address from where Flipkart's logistics partner (Ekart) will pick up orders. Multiple pickup locations can be added later.

Add your current account number, IFSC, and upload a cancelled cheque. Account name must match the GST registered name.

Upload a clear scan or photo of the authorized signatory's signature on a white background. Used on tax invoices.

Read and accept Flipkart's Seller Agreement, including commission structure and SLA terms. This is digital — no physical signing required.

Create at least one listing with title, images (white background, ≥500×500px), price, MRP, and Flipkart-approved category.

Flipkart's team verifies documents in 24–72 hours. Once approved, your listings go live and you can receive orders immediately.

❌ GST and PAN Name Mismatch

✅ Fix: Both must be in the same legal entity name. Update either at the source before re-applying.

❌ Bank Account Not in Business Name

✅ Fix: Use a current account in the registered business/proprietor name — savings accounts in personal names cause rejection.

❌ Blurry Signature Upload

✅ Fix: Use a 300 DPI scan on white background. Avoid mobile photos with shadows or watermarks.

❌ Restricted Category Selected

✅ Fix: Some categories (medical, alcohol, cosmetics) need extra approvals. Switch to an open category to start, then request expansion.

❌ Pickup Address Pincode Not Serviced

•Shipping fee: ₹30–₹150 depending on weight and zone (paid by seller, recoverable from buyer).
•Collection fee: 1.5%–2% of order value (Cash-on-Delivery only).
•Fixed fee: ₹5–₹50 per order, slab-based on order value.
•GST: 18% applicable on the total of all Flipkart fees above.
